Training Courses for Dog Grooming

A new career or just a hobby
Learn a new skill for life

The Dog Grooming Training Courses are offered on a week-by-week basis. (apart from the Day Experience)  You can train for one week or ten - whatever you feel is suitable. Obviously the longer you can devote to your training the more varied and extensive your experience as a groomer will be.
For those of you who are aiming to run your own dog grooming business I suggest that between four and six weeks should be your minimum attendance giving you plenty of practice and confidence and a variety of breeds to work on.
You can split the weeks up, they do not have to run continuously.

K9 Cuts courses are very hands on and focuses on practical work. From day one you will start practical work with step-by-step instruction. There will never be any more than two students at any one time to ensure you will get all the individual attention you need.

All students who train for two weeks will receive a book folder detailing aspects covered on the course. Plus a selection of grooming equipment. You will be encouraged to produce a portfolio of your training and include photos of your work.

On successful completion of your dog grooming training you will receive a certificate from K9 Cuts as proof of your training - for you to hang on the wall of your new workplace!

Our dog grooming training courses aim to teach you the necessary skills to work as a professional dog groomer.  Practice, patience and determination on your part will make you a career.

I would encourage you to visit the salon, have a look around, have an informal chat with no obligation.

I look forward to meeting those of you that decide to train with me.
